Following your feelings

Always works you'll find

Just listen to your heart

And stay out of your mind

The mind will want to analyse

To think the whole thing through

But the essence of your heart

Knows what's best for you

Your heart is where your Soul lives

That higher part of you

Its essence is pure joy

And love and freedom too

It speaks to you in feelings

That stir within your Being

That stem from inner knowing

All hearing and all seeing

They are your gut reaction

Intuitive and true

Before the mind doth intervene

And get you in a stew

So if you feel great joy

You know that you're on track

But if you feel uncomfortable

Then better to hold back

Your feelings are a signpost

To guide you on your way

So listen well to heart and Soul

Let joy fill every day
